Having a student at Kent State University we utilise this hotel each time we come over - it's very convenient to downtown and the University, always clean, beds are comfortable, rooms are always clean. Service staff are always great. Having a washer/dryer inhouse is also super convenient.

Modern. Clean, solid WiFi signal everywhere. Larger king bed room, modern functional plumbing, microwave and dorm refrigerator in room. 2nd floor communal patio made a nice cocktail, picnic spot. Location is in Old Town two blocks to River. Many restaurants and bars with 3 blocks. View of campus but yet removed from student life. Indoor pool was a nice idea but it’s too small for lap swimming and the water heater was broken during our visit. Very quiet at night made for sound sleeping. Free lobby coffee was delicious and I am a coffee snob (hate Starbucks—too bitter, lover strong robust coffee) coffee mate creamer was the only alternative but it wasn’t bad and how can you complain about free coffee that tastes good. 2nd floor ice machine alcove has a clothes washer and dryer. Free? I’m not certain but it’s a nice touch.

The hotel was spotless, sleek, modern design and everything seemed brand new. The room was very spacious and the AC was in good working order. There was free coffee and hot water 24/7 in the lobby.

We had a very good room, a nice comfy bed, and a very easy time with check in, check out, and all of our booking! The room was exactly what we needed for one night in Kent!

Love the proximity to downtown and campus. Our favorite place to stay when we come visit our Flash girl. Beds are super comfy and the rooms are a nice size.

purpose was to attend concert at kent stage.also took time to drive around campus and check out 'shooting display room and photos"very emotional.We remember the event and have been haunted by neil young(Canadian) song OHIO.allin all a educational and moving visit to your town--------will return if age and health allow.restaurent

The breakfast was great. We had a suite and it was perfect for gathering in. The front desk people were very accommodating and helpful getting several of us checked in under different names. Great spot for going to the Kent Stage.

First,I really liked, Sarah, the front desk reservationist. She was very friendly, energetic and helpful. She gave us 2 great recommendations on nearby restaurants. She also took care of a snafu in the reservation, that was my fault, seamlessly and quickly. Our rooms were spotless and larger than expected. The King bed was very comfortable, not too soft or hard. The room provided all the necessities..The bathroom had a nice large granite ? sink and a good sized shower with interchangeable shower head settings. We did not use the swimming pool or eat at the hotel restaurant. We also had a very quiet stay, which is a big plus. Excellent hotel, especially for the price!
